Started out as a homage a Piranesi, but then it got mixed up with other things... its the first painting I've done with a proper vanishing point perspective, I don't really enjoy painting rectilinear things, but it was quite fun to do once.

Given 2005-10-01

The perspective alone is enough to make me fall in love with Betrayal for the Greater Good by ~Wild-E-eep, but that coupled with a great technique and an intriguing sense of mystery don't hurt, either. (Featured by `silentkitty)

The atmosphere is great too. Like it's really dusty, or it's bigger than you'd think. I'd love to explore a place like that!
